Skiled Workers: Settlement Funds
Applicant must show that they have enough money to support themselves and their dependants, if applicable, after they arrive in Canada. Applicant cannot borrow this money. Applicant will need to provide a proof that the funds are liquid and available at any time.
The amount of money that applicant must have to support their family is determined by the size of their family and is calculated by Citizenship and Immigration Canada proceeding from the yearly data of Statistics Canada.
If applicant can't provide a proof that meets the settlement funds requirements the application will be refused.
